What changed in Lighthog

Newest first. Anything marked Added is live on every plan unless stated otherwise.

Status pages on custom domains

Public status pages can now live on your own domain with a free TLS certificate issued automatically. Your users stay on your brand during an incident, which is exactly when branding matters most.

SMS alerts duplicated on webhook retries

When our alert webhook retried after a timeout, some carriers delivered the same SMS twice. Retries are now idempotent: one incident, one message, no matter how many retries.

Core Web Vitals monitoring

HTTP monitors can now track LCP, INP and CLS on a schedule and alert when a vital crosses your threshold. Because a slow site is a down site with extra steps.

Microsoft Teams alert channel

Teams joins Slack, SMS and webhooks. Post incidents and recoveries into a channel, with the acknowledge button inline on the message.

IPv6 checks timing out on some hosts

Certain dual-stack hosts never answered over IPv6, so ping monitors showed false failures. We now fall back to IPv4 per check and flag which stack answered.

Maintenance windows

Schedule recurring windows where planned downtime doesn't page anyone. Checks still run and history still records, so the uptime percentage stays honest.
